Abstract (EN)

Bureaus are both public and private occupational places. While working in bureaus, interactions in the environmental conditions are inevitable. This study aims that these environmental interactions affect working performance and by improving these conditions, working performance will be much better.Such criteria?s like; lightening, heating, air conditioning, humidity, noise, ergonomics, neatness, settlement patterns will affect the performance while working. By standardizing these physical environmental conditions at an average rate, working performance will be affected positively and it will also protect both the employee?s health and the employer?s profit.For the aim of testing the hypothesis, an empirical research, including public and private employees working in Gediz (one of the big towns Kütahya city) was done and datum were taken by the way of surveys. 160 of the survey items were given out to the private sector, 240 of them were given to the public sector, by this way totally 400 survey items were to be given out in the research, and 29 from private sector, 18 from public sector and totally 47 firms and corporations? positive point of view were carried out. 283 of the answered surveys were evaluated. While evaluating the surveys; frequency, reliability, One-way Anova and T test were used as analysis techniques. According to the findings, it is understood that physical environmental conditions are well in both sectors, but in the bureaus of private sector, physical environmental conditions are better than the ones in public sector. Employees Express that, physical environmental conditions, of course, affect working conditions, and they add that even behaving with good intentions for improving the conditions will also affect their working performance positively.
