Traditional Turkish House is a cultural value formed with the contribution of the Turkish people. Traditional Turkish House the first form of shape, life began to be formed from the tent in Central Asia, has found its original form in Anatolia. Shaped the traditional Turkish house with shamanism, has a different way with Islam. Turkish customs and traditions with Islam brought by the rules within the framework of planned homes, interior and exterior spaces have also shaped according to the permissions and prohibitions imposed these rules. Basis and last form of the traditional Turkish house in Anatolia, according to the different climate and local features observed in different regions of Anatolia, a traditional Turkish house is built with local materials and the climate. Materials used by the climate and the local feature in the Marmara Region has been wood. In the Nilüfer District of Bursa, the old name is Misi Village, and the actual material of the houses of Gümüştepe Mahallesi, as it is called, is wooden. Houses in Misi, an important settlement in the Ottoman period, reveal the culture and socio-economic structure of the period it was built. In addition, although they are neglected, they are our cultural assets that increase the historical value of Misi. In this thesis, the purpose of the study, scope, resources research, use of materials, method method used, the traditional Turkish house provides information about in Misi. In the first part, the traditional Turkish house and human relations, Traditional Turkish description of the house, features, architecture and history, background characteristics, sofas – sofa includes information about plan types. In the second part, the traditional Turkish house provides information about the sample in Bursa. In the third chapter, which describes the characteristics of traditional Turkish Houses in Misi, classified according to plan types, houses were examined. The fourth section reviews the results and recommendations are included.
