Research on the establishment of bursa Uludağ University arboretum (Uluarbor)

Nowadays, there is a rapid decrease in species diversity due to the excessive use of natural resources. Environmental education is the biggest factor that prevents this situation. Arboretums have a very important value in the formation of nature consciousness. The main purpose of the arboretum and the botanical gardens, instill the idea of loving, protecting and owning nature. In this research, Bursa Uludağ University located in Bursa has been determined as the study area because of it is rich values in terms of location, climate, habitat and plant diversity, Arboretums examined and samples can be taken from the world and Turkey and evaluated. According to research results; the campus area of Bursa Uludağ University will be considered as a training center for researchers and students with plants brought together from different corners of the world and will shed light on science. In addition to this, there will be a unique arboretum planning and design project that can be visited by the people living around the city.
