Interpretation of the Surah al-Buruj in terms of religious education

This study aims to identify the methods and approaches related to education and religious education in the Qur'an, specifically in the context of Surah Al-Buruj, and compare them with modern teaching methods. In the first section, the conceptual framework is discussed. In the second section, the principles and methods of Islamic education are examined based on Surah Al-Buruj. The research utilizes the documentation method, one of the qualitative research methods. As a result of the study, the principles and methods of Islamic education (such as the principles of clarity, moving from the known to the unknown, the limited power of education, example cases, reward and punishment, and the methods of fear and hope in Islamic education) are identified. It has been determined that the data obtained closely resemble modern teaching methods used in educational sciences (such as constructivist learning, active learning, holistic learning, social learning, emotional intelligence, and empathetic learning).
