Integrated intuitionistic fuzzy multi criteria decision making methods: Example of Turkish automotive main industry

Abstract (EN)

With a view to improving the applications in the supply-chain, environment-friendly arrangements attract ever-increasing attention among companies. Since these arrangements are taking place in an area, which is developing each passing day, there is always a need for further research. In this study, the Green Supply Chain (GSCM), which is the environmental dimension of the Sustainable Supply Chain Management (SSCM) was examined within the framework of the Turkish Automotive Main Industry by using Multi Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) methods. In the first phase of the study, the criteria related to GSCM were determined by 11 companies in the Turkish Automotive Industry and were given information about GSCM initiatives and the obstacles they encountered of these firms. In the second phase, criteria weighted by making use of the rate-weight technique. As a result of the weighting, the sub-criteria of the green recycling and the green design were determined to be the foreground. In the third phase, the factories of Ford OTOSAN were evaluated within the framework of GSCM criteria by using 8 different methods which include absolute numbers (Linear Scoring, Non-Linear Scoring, TOPSIS), fuzzy numbers (Fuzzy TOPSIS, Fuzzy TOPSIS with Entropy Weight) and intuitive fuzzy numbers (Intuitive Fuzzy TOPSIS weighted with Three Different Entropies). Separate sequences were obtained for each method. In the fourth phase, 10 different scenarios were developed by changing the weights of importance for 11 companies which participated as decision-makers. In this way, the changes in the grading of the factories of Ford OTOSAN were traced with sensitivity analysis. In conclusion, for this study, Intuitionistic Fuzzy TOPSIS methods using entropy weight( (IFT-1, IFT-2, IFT-3) were seen as more effective ones.
