Abstract (EN)

This study aims to adapt the Creative Personality Subtest of the Integrated Creativity Test to Turkish culture and to examine its validity and reliability. The research was conducted using quantitative research design, specifically the survey model. The study population consisted of preschool teachers working in Istanbul during the 2024–2025 academic year. The sample included 247 voluntary preschool teachers selected through convenience sampling. Data was collected through both online (Google Forms) and face-to-face surveys. During the data collection process, a personal information form developed by the researcher and the Creative Personality Subtest, originally developed by Lee (2002), were used. The adaptation process included language validity, expert review, and a pilot study. To examine the construct validity of the scale, both Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) and Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) were conducted. In addition, Cronbach's Alpha coefficient was calculated to determine internal consistency reliability. As a result of the analyses, the test revealed an eight-factor structure in the Turkish sample, and the construct validity was found to be sufficient. The internal consistency reliability coefficient of the scale was calculated as .91 (α = 0.91). The findings indicated that the adapted scale is a valid and reliable measurement tool for adult assessment of the creative personality of preschool children in İstanbul sample.
