Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to analyze the influence of Necip Fazıl and the ideology of the Great East, which he built, on the thought world of Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the main actor in recent Turkish politics, and to determine whether this influence has a systemic reflection. With the transition to the Presidential Government System model, it has been observed that some columnists have commented that "President Erdoğan is trying to pursue a strategy towards the State of Başyücelik of Necip Fazıl. In this thesis, the impact of the Big East ideology on the politics of Turkey in the recent period has been tried to be monitored ideologically through President Erdoğan. The systemic influence of the Big East ideology was evaluated through the new government model. Based on President Erdoğan's discourses reflected in media sources, the influence of the Big East in his intellectual field has been analyzed. In order to access Erdoğan's speeches, news and data from newspapers, magazines, speech texts of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) and the official website of the Presidency were utilized. In this respect, the news data on the subject covered positively and negatively in the media and the data on the subject on the website of the Presidency were analyzed and examined in the context of our subject. The opinion obtained as a result of the analysis is that the influence of "Necip Fazıl" and "Great East ideology" on Erdoğan is intense. Whether this influence on Erdoğan is reflected on the field of state governance with the change of the Presidential Government System has been tried to be revealed by comparing the Presidential Government System and the State of Başyücelik in terms of legislative, executive, judiciary and basic concepts and opinions. As a result of the research, many traces of the Great East has been observed in Erdoğan's rhetoric. As a result of the formally comparison of the new government model with the State of Başyücelik based on the intense influence of the Great East on Erdoğan, it has been concluded that the two systems do not cover each other and that the comments currently made on this issue remain on the intellectual axis. It is understood that the main reason for this is that the management style specified by the State of the Başyücelik contains spiritual factors, but the new government model does not occur a change in the spiritual values of the state and society. However, as a result of the study, it can be said that based on Erdoğan's discourses and the close connection he has established with this ideology, it will be able to say to seem possible that the State of Başyücelik may come up as an alternative proposal in the forthcoming period.
