Abstract (EN)
This study aims to classify the waste, which is caused by textile industry in Sakarya province, and to investigate how to reduce these wastes ant what actions to take under the banner of green production. In addition, at the end of this research, it is also targeted to measure the reduce of carbon emission, which is cause of energy consumption. Sakarya province was planned as the research area it is just because textile Industry is much bigger in various kind of other industries. In various scale of textile sector, the condition is very suitable for best conclusions and suitable to get ideal results. In this industry region the area includes numerous textile facilities, which are operating in many scales. Detector engaged in productions, such as yarn production twisting plying fancy drying of yarn and polyamide fabrics, finishing weaving, knitted curtain production upholstery fabric production embroidery, various Garment production and various fabric production and dyeing processes. Study includes research of the raw materials that enters the establishments product preparation units, dyeing units, cotton fabric, dyeing units, polyester, fabric dyeing units, dry preparation units, printing units and shipping units. The life cycles of these units Analysis have been conducted, and these analysis shows the stages of processes and the waste and the products which comes out as results. The waste, which are generated by operations in the establishments, is recorded and registered according to the waste coach that created an accepted in the waste management regulations. By the rules of integrated environmental information system from January 1 to March 31 these records are kept for five years, it was figured out that variety of words are generated in the aisles which certain wastes significantly surplassing others. waste management procedures, involves part of disposal, part of cycling, and sending some waste to recovery facilities. For the record processed Fiber wastes (040202- 040221-040222),sludges from Wastewater treatment(040219-040220), Bottom, Ash, slack, boiler ash(100101), Packing wastes(150101-150102-150103-150104-150110), Paper and cardboard with general wastecode(200101), Textile products(200111), Plastics(200139), And metals(200140) are most common disposed waste that categorized under waste management regulation. The research also highlights significant pollution sources which are the results of wastewater discharge directly into the receiving environment, and emissions, finally released directly into the atmosphere which is mentioned in the regulations. In this research, it was also discussed the recommendations that are about reducing and reducing and fully treating generated Wastewater. Moreover, strategies and actions to take to minimize air emissions, which results to pollution were also discussed. Through this study, the outlined green production methods in the textile industry, maintain a framework for addressing the environmental impact of establishments. Additionally, an example, which is about the reduction in carbon emissions, that would result from a switch in full resources, along with the quantitive calculation of the carbon that can be traded due to carbon trading. In the research discovery was made that energy used during these processes in the facilities mostly comes from coal, diesel, natural gases, Electricity. The research scrutinizes the consumption rates of coal, diesel, and natural gases, which are used for energy production by these facilities. In concolusion, it was determined that a total of 114,115 tons of CO2 / YEAR greenhouse gas is emitted from these sources, particularly 4,192 tons of CO2 / YEAR from 1,320 liters of diesel consumption, 107,202 tons of CO2 / YEAR from 56,480 tons of coal consumption, and 2,721 tons of CO2 / YEAR from 1,403,400 cubic meters of natural gas consumption. Through calculations, it was determined that a switch from coal, the largest emitter, to natural gas for energy production would result in a 71.75% improvement, reducing emissions to 32,233 tons of CO2 / YEAR. The amount of reduced greenhouse gases, of course, if it was brought into the European emission trading system, and certified, could be priced at €11 per ton. However, this price may very because of the international agreements and sales. By accepting and average value of €11 per ton, the study concluded that this reducing could generate revenue of €900,006. Search more when examining the carbon emissions resulting from the energy spent on producing products based on raw materials used, maintaining a green production system under sustainability principles will significantly reduce carbon emissions. At this point compliance with international criteria disregard would become functional. In recent years, much more solutions and new approaches, such as reuse, and recycling products have been seen in the scientific community to reduce production expenses and finally carbon footprints. Researcher shows that product, which was made from unused wool, create twice to carbon footprint if you compare it to the made from recycled wool. The textile industry is composed of largest and most important industries, and in terms of production and workforce it comes forward. The textile industry not only the supplies clothing, but also the second skin for 8 billion people, but also significantly makes a contribution to the houses, as their third skin. It is one of the most critical sectors for our country, with a total turnover of $60 billion approximately $29 billion in exports and employing 1 million people. In The industry it is necessary that the use of sustainable materials and production method. It is certain to make sure that raw materials are being produced environmentally, friendly conditions, using chemicals that do not harm environment and creating garments which do not harm human beings and applying processes for recycling production waste, and used garments are the critical elements for the ecological and sustainable aspects all textiles. In the studies, we need to take action which support, clean, and soft productions. To cooperate with other establishments is essential during the production process. Facilities should be provided for both product, quality, and ecological environment that we inhabit, as well as sustainability at every step taken. In this sector, it is 2 AM that to make a contribution to our countries economy to adopt sustainable production practices for a more livable world. The conclusion of this study shows that transitioning to a green production model will result in reducing emissions in air, and in water, decreased waste, and developing much more clean production technologies. Some of these reductions will add to preserving the world, while the rest of the people will benefit both the establishments and the national economy.
