Cocount in Chagatay Turkish prose works

The scope of the study titled "Collocation in Chagatai Turkish Prose Works" is limited to Chagatai Turkish texts and will be based on the material of prose works. In this study, Chagatai Turkish period texts Ḫamsetü'l-Müteḥayyirīn, Hâlât-ı Pehlevan Muhammed Risâlesi, Hâlât-ı Seyyid Hasan Big Risâlesi, Mîzânu'l-Evzân (Scale of Promises), Muḥākemetü'l-Luġateyn, The material of the study was obtained by scanning the works of Şecere-yi Türk (Genealogy of the Türk) and Şecere -i Terâkime (Genealogy of the Turkmen). If it is aimed to reveal all collocations in the text, it is important to consider both meaning and frequency criteria. Both criteria were taken into consideration in the study, and a meaning-based approach was predominantly preferred. By examining the texts related to Chagatai Turkish, collocations formed with noun + noun, adjective + noun and noun + verb patterns were determined using certain criteria.
