Abstract (EN)

In this study, the works of drama written about Yûnus Emre, subjects discussed in these dramas are being searched and looked for answers to the question from what point of view people handle these subjects in their plays. In my work named ?Yûnus Emre In Contemporary Turkish Theatre (drama)?, first of all, the information about Yûnus Emre?s life, his art and his work has been given. This work involves the reviews of nine dramas written about Yûnus Emre. The methods which I applied in the analysis of these works are: Copyright page of the book, fiction, summary, characters, protagonist (main character), characters in the status of decorative element, theme, place, plot, form, time, techniques of language and expression, mimesis, method of screening (dramatic method), objective imagery, flashback method, dialog method, mounting method and problem of narration. The parts of evaluation have been analyzed in details. As a result of those researches, Yûnus Emre is a bridge of language from 700 years ago to our day, a hand of love, fellowship and leniency that touches everyone, a master of language and soul to whom humankind has many things to say about despite the huge interval, and because of this it has been come to conclusion that it is very important to know his life, his ideal characteristics, his ideas, the depth he brought to sufi literature and his universal love of humanity, properly.
