Abstract (EN)

Innovative work behavior and job performance issues are increasingly important for organizations. Innovative work behavior and performance of employees is a necessary condition for them to be considered more important by their superiors and to be promoted in their duties. For organizations, it enables them to show their differences from other organizations in an increasingly competitive environment. The aim of this study is to examine the effect of employees' work values on innovative work behavior and work performance. For this purpose, data were obtained by survey method from 538 people working in the public and private sectors in Bartın province with convenience sampling method. According to the results of the analysis, there was a significant relationship between the utilitarian and social dimensions, which are the sub-dimensions of work values, and innovative work behavior, and there was no relationship between the opportunistic instrumental and emotional dimensions of the innovative work behavior. In the relationship between work values sub-dimensions and job performance, while there was a significant relationship between utilitarian and social dimensions and job performance, no relationship was found between opportunistic, instrumental and emotional values and job performance. When we look at the relationship between innovative work behavior and work performance, there is a significant relationship between the idea generation and realization dimensions, which are the sub-dimensions of innovative work behavior, and work performance, but there is no relationship between the job performance of identifying the problem and application dimensions.
