Özet (EN)
In this study samples obtained from Camiyanı crimean pine (Pinus nigra Arn. subsp. pallasiana var. pallasiana) trees being endemic and growing naturally in Yenice region. It is preferred because its heartwood is larger than its softwood. The reason for this that heartwood is getting darker by time and this is adding aesthetic value to the material. In this study, some chemical, physical and phyto-chemical properties of Camiyanı pine were determined. Oven dry density of Crimean pine was determined as 0,54 g/cm3 air dry density was found as 0,57 g/cm3, cell wall material as 36,19%, void volume ratio as 63,81%. In this study, the results of the analysis of chemical properties of Camiyanı pine were as; for heartwood the holocellulose ratio was found as 74,78%, alpha cellulose ratio was 52,03%, lignin ratio was 28,43%, cold-water solubility was 1,04%, hot water solubility was 3,83%, 1% NaOH solubility was 13,20% and the amount of extractives using the alcohol extraction was found as 4,17%. These values were compared with some coniferous tree species. In this study, essential oil yield and chemical composition of Camiyanı black pine cones, needles and wood was investigated by using hydrodestilation method. Moreover lyphophylic elements amouts and composition was determined after hexane extraction. It was found that the essential oil yield for cones was 0,27%, for needles it was 0,44% and for wood it was 0,14%. Important main constitnenst were tricylene, α-terpineol, γ-terpinene, α-thujen, Δ3-karen, α-terpinen, β-pinene, α-pinen and limonen. Lyphophylic material amount found after hexane exdraction for cones it was 5,90%, for needles it was 5,94% and for wood it was 8,49%. Some of the main constituents found were as myrictic acid, palmitic acid, linoleic acid, stearic acid, nerolidol and rimuene. As a result; Camiyanı pine were compared with other Crimean pine in terms of anatomical physical and chemical properties and no significant differences were found. Due to its wide heartwood, its wood is preferred in forest industry
