Abstract (EN)
On April 25th, Anzak army corps has landed on Arıburnu.They could not advance further than a small bridgehead anywhere they have landed despite their thousands of losses. Anzacs could be backed off as a result of the persistent resistance of Turkish soldier, disorganisation encountered by British as soon as they stepped on the land and their weakness for trooping. Allies could never manage to achieve their targets in the first day. After battle turned into trench warfare, thousands of people died and injured with the wild mutual attacks. No result was obtained from these attacks. As a result, Turkish soldiers who defend their land stopped progress of enemies who came to occupy their country at the risk of their lives and made confederate soldiers to leave peninsula.
