Özet (EN)
SUMMARYAffects Of Subinhibitory Concentration Of Antifungal Drug ApplicationsOn Slime Factor Forming At Candida SpeciesCandida is the member of normal human flora. They are found in naturewidely. Host cellular immunity deficiency can cause oppurtunistic fungal enfectionswith flora, changing of physiological conditions of region or microorganism contentof flora. The frequency of Candida infections has increased. The development ofresistance to the antifungal agents is also seen an important problem. In this study, we aimed to identify the Candida species isolated from clinicalspecimens, to detect slime forming species, to determine the antifungal susceptibilitypaterns and affects of sub inhibitory concentration of antifungals on slime forming. In this study, 250 Candida strains isolated from various specimens that hasbeen sent to the Microbiology and Clinical Microbiology Laboratory of our hospitalfor 01.01.2005 bis 01.09.2006 has been described. 64 (25,6%) Candida speciesdetected that is slime forming. Slime forming strains has been determined. Of thesestrains, 41 (64,1 %) were identified as C.albicans, 13 (20,3 %) as C.glabrata, 3 (4,6%) as C.tropicalis, 5 (7,8 %) as C.kefyr, 1 (1,6 %) as C.krusei, 1 (1,6 %) as C.sake.Susceptibility of these slime forming strains to Amp-B, Voriconazole,Itroconazole and Fluconazole were detected by using microbroth susceptibilitytesting method.Antifungal susceptibility were detected 98,4% for Amp-B, %68,7 forVoriconozole, 51,6% for Itroconazole, 53% for Fluconazole.Furthermore, in our study in addition to MIC values, 2 sub dilutions wereprepared for slime forming strains and investigated slime forming at subinhibitoryconcentrations. As result, in our study we detect that at antifungals subinhibitor concentrationof 64 Candida species. 41 Candida species (64,1 %) slime forming is inhibited byAmp-B, 41 (64,1 %) is inhibited by Voriconazole, 47 (73,4 %) is inhibited byItraconazole, 35(54,7 %) is inhibited by Fluconazole. In our study; preventing of slime forming at subinhibitory concentration ofantifungals were detected 64,1%.Key Words: Antifungal Sensitivity, Slime factory, Candida, Voriconazole,Itroconazole, Fluconazole, Amphotericine B
