Çankırı hand weavings: Rug samples in mosques connected to the center

Çankırı Hand-Weaves: In this study, which we have prepared as Kilim Samples in Mosques of the Center, the lint-free weavings with lint in twenty-four mosques in the center were examined within the scope of the research. Weavings with kilim, cicim, zili and sumac techniques, which are expressed as lint-free weaving, were determined by examining them on site, and were documented with photographs and tried to be introduced in a catalog order in a detailed way. In the introduction, information about the definition, importance, aims, scope, method and lint-free weaving mats are given. In the second part, the historical development of Turkish hand weaving from Central Asia to the Republic is emphasized; In the third part, the techniques used in Anatolian hand weavings, and in the fourth part, information about the loom, materials and dyes are given. In the fifth chapter, in which information about the province of Çankırı is included, information about the weaving mats with lint-free kirkit has been tried to be given by making use of the written sources about the general characteristics and motifs of the Anatolian and Çankırı rugs and the information obtained during the field studies. In the sixth chapter, the lint-free weaving mats (rug, cicim, zili, sumak) identified in the mosques of the center are handled one by one and information about their general characteristics is given. As a result of the research, the data obtained were analyzed with appropriate table methods. The motifs seen in lint-free weavings are included in the fifth chapter with their meanings and visuals. With these evaluations, the table information of the rugs was created. With this study, the current state of weavings has also been determined. According to the information obtained as a result of the research, it was seen that there were weavings in the mosques and with this research, it was ensured that the weavings were recorded.
