Carbon footprint and ecological evaluations in different crop plants of fertilizer applications

Carbon footprint represents the amount of carbon emitted to the nature directly or indirectly by a person or an organization as a result of its activities. In order to minimize the formation of CO2 in the atmosphere, the works in soil are important. For this reason, 20:20:20 ratio of chemical fertilizer, 2 ton/da ratio of solid organic fertilizer, 6 L/da ratio of liquid organic fertilizer, and 20:20 ratio of organomineral fertilizer were applied to the soil.Fertilizer application which contributes to plant development with the least damage, has been investigated. While conducting this research, yield was calculated by making some analysis. Time-based analysis were height and chlorophyll measurement in the plant and relative water content. Growth parameters were root, stem dry and fresh weights, grain weight. Soil analysis were soil nutrient and antioxidant enzyme analysis. Plant analyzes were plant nutrient content analysis, amino acid and organic acid content analysis in the plant. As a result of these analysis yield graphs, plant and soil nutrients tables were obtained. Also visual observations were made for growth parameters.As a result, microbial fertilizer application was the most effective type of fertilizer in plant height growth, increase in relative water content, decrease in stress in plant and increase yield.Organic fertilizer application was the most effective type of fertilizer in terms of increase height the plant and increase chlorophyll amount.Organomineral fertilizer application was the most effective type of fertilizer in terms of total weight yield.In addition, organic, microbial and organomineral fertilizer applications; organic acids, amino acids, SOD, POD, CAT activity, had positive effects on increasing parameters such as soil and plant nutrients.It is concluded that chemical fertilizers do not have a positive effect, while other fertilizers were harmless in terms of both plant and ecology. In a year, this damage during the production of wheat in the world with about 283 million tonnes of CO2 equivalent, in Turkey, about 6 million tons of CO2 equivalent was calculated as carbon emissions.
