ÖZET CARL SCHMITT'İ OKUMA: BİR DEVLET TEORİSİ Şahin, Yelda MA., Siyaset Bilimi ve Kamu Yönetimi Bölümü Tez Yöneticisi: Doç. Dr. Fuat Keyman Eylül 2000 Bu tez, devlet teorisinde yeni tartışmalar açmak amacıyla, Cari Schmitt'in bazı çalışmalarını eleştirel bir gözle incelemektedir. Tezde başlıca ilgilenilen konu devletin doğası ve toplumu yönetme yollan olmuştur. Cari Schmitt'in teorik kavramları bu devlet sorunsalı ile ilintili olarak incelenmiş ve yorumlanmıştır. Bu çalışmaya göre Schmitt'in devlet teorisi, modern toplumların nasıl yönetildiğini anlamak açısından incelenmeye değerdir ve devletin gerçek yaşamım çalışmak bağlamında yeni teorik anlayışlar sunmaktadır.
