Abstract (EN)
The purpose of this study was to learn how to increase EFL students' participation level through the use of communicative activities. This study was designed as a descriptive case study. I preferred this method because it would be a great help to observe my students' participation level when the communicative activities were conducted. The participants of the study were 12 pre-intermediate level students who were attending the preparatory school of Hasan Kalyoncu University in Gaziantep, Turkey. In this study, three types of instruments were used in order to collect data. These were student interviews, student reflection sheets and lesson reports. The findings of this study revealed that communicative activities help to increase EFL students' level of participation in English lessons.
