Abstract (EN)
Tarikas are the groups that have the primary role on the expansion of Sufi Islamic thoughts. They appeared firstly in 7th and 8th centuries. The Khalwati action which started to form since 14th century expanded after 15* century, and has been effective up today after the systemization process. The Khalwati Tarika that had khanqahs in Anatolia and Rumelia mostly still has them in Rumelia. As a result of this effect, many poets and writers who processed the Khalwatian doctrines appeared. One of the Khalwatian poets of that period is Mufti Dervish, lived in Kutahya in 16th and 17th centuries. Our study presents information on Mufti Dervish's life, literary personality and works. His Divan is transferred from Arabic alphabet to Latin alphabet. His poems were analyzed in terms of religion - mysticism - society.Mufti Dervish is one of the Khalwatian poets. In his poems, the religious - mystic characteristics of Turkish Literature and Khalwati can be found. The religious - mystic Turkish Literature takes place both pre- and post-Islamic periods. Due to its issues, the literature depends on the language, religion, feelings and thoughts of the society. As it covers the whole society, it can address to all the parts of society. The religious - mystic Turkish Literature was affected by Turkish literature of pre-Islamic period in terms of the characteristics of form and style. After Turks adopted the religion of Islam, it included Sufi-Islamic factors by having a new form under Islamic effects. The theme of Khalwati was processed in our literature from 14th century when it started to spread in Anatolia. Cavdaoglu Muftu Dervish, lived in 16* and 17* centuries, is one of our poets who processed Sufi-Islamic and Khalwatic thought. Mustu Dervish is the son of Sun'ullah, one of the important representatives of Turkish mystic literature of 17 century. Muftu Devish as mystic poet has not been introduced sufficiently like others as he has not taken place Tezkires. The investigation that consists of three chapters presented the life of the poet in the first section, stylistic factors of his poems in the second section, and analysis of poems in terms of religion, mysticism and society. The transcriptional text of Divan was given after the analysis. Finally, I would like to Associate Prof.. Dr. Ismail Ekincioglu for his valuable help. Also, I thank to Assistant Prof. Dr. Mustafa Guneş for his help. Lastly, I am grateful to Prof. Dr. Ali Torun for his valuable help and suggestions during conducting study.
