Ergonomic investigation of working conditions of nurses working i̇n surgical branches

The study was conducted descriptively to determine the ergonomic risks that nurses are exposed to in the working environment. The study population consists of 200 nurses working in inpatient treatment, intensive care, emergency service and other units of Kocaeli Cıty Hospıtal. We used the SPSS22.0 package program to evaluate the data. In the analysis of research data, frequency analysis and mean analysis were used for descriptive analysis, and chi-square analysis was used for statistical relationships between independent variables affecting health problems. December. The significance level was accepted as p<0.05. Research data was collected by conducting a literature review and using a survey form created by the researchers. The survey consisted of an introductory form consisting of 9 questions and a workplace ergonomics scale consisting of 32 questions. A statistically significant difference was found between the social environment sub-dimensions of the participants' workplaces and shift type variables. According to the results of the LSD test, it was observed that significant differences occurred in continuous day and sometimes day and sometimes night shift situations, respectively. A statistically significant difference could not be accurately determined between the participants' workplace ergonomics scales and occupational health and safety, environmental conditions, psychological factors, occupational safety and working environment sub-dimensions and shift type variables.
