Abstract (EN)
In this study, the effects of juglone and walnut (Juglans regia L. cv. ?YaIova-2?) leafextracts on vegetative and generative growth of muskmelon (Cucumis melo L. cv. Galia F1).Juglone solution was prepared at 0,1 mM concentration. Walnut leaf ectracts were prepared atundiluted and 1/2, 1/4 and 1/8 diluted. The plants untreated with juglone and the extracts wereassumed as control. As conelusion, stem growth of muskmelon was decreased by undilutedextract and partly Juglone. Whereas 1/8 diluted ectract inereased stem elongation, with respectto control. On the other hand, leaf gronth of muskmelon seedlings was affected similarly aswell.In generative grovth, flower number and home width were inereased by 1/8 dilutedextract and undiluted extract, respectively, in contrast to control. But the other parameters of thegenerative growth were not enhanced by the treatments
