Crime of intentional pollution of the environment

The aim of our thesis is to explain all elements of the crime of deliberately polluting the environment. In the first part of our thesis; environment, pollution, waste and residual, country concepts are defined, then the historical development of crime and international law taking into account the practices of the environment and criminal law protection issues are covered. In the second section, after exmining the elements of the crime in accordance with the classical crime type examination method, the special cases of the crime and the qualified situations are included. In the third section, explanations on sanctions and procedural law are given. As a result of the study, it was aimed to provide a solution for the correction of the deficiencies determined by examining the crime of deliberate pollution of the environment by taking into consideration the decisions of the Court of Appeals within the framework of criminal and criminal procedure law.
