Aydın in Single - Party Period based on the inspection reports of Republican People's Party (CHP)

Republican People's Party (CHP), is a party that ruled singly from 1923-1946 i Turkish political history. CHP, having constructed a nationwide organizational structure, executed inspections to monitor the works of its members in the rural parts of the country at certain times of year. The aim of this study is to present the political/administrative and socio-economic structure of Aydın according to the inspection reports kept by the party's Aydın deputies and inspectors between 1935-1945. These reports give significant informations about political, cultural, economical, social and sportive structure of Aydın and especially the services of the Republican People's Party organizations.
