Abstract (EN)
The mechanical behavior of the adhesives used in bonding joints has recently gained importance. In this study, a double-acting overlap was created without any epoxy adhesive additives, tensile and bending strengths were made on the connections, lowering lengths of 10, 20, 30 mm, radius length of 5, 10, 15 mm and layer thickness of 0.5, 1 and 1.5 mm experimental studies were carried out. In the experimental studies, DP460 epoxy adhesive and AL5754 Aluminum plate were used as the adhered material. As a result of the experiments, it was observed that the damage load and elongation amount of the samples increased as the layer thickness increased. It has also been observed that the increase in the bending radius length affects the damage load and the amount of elongation of the samples.
