Özet (EN)

This study has been carried out in order to determine the interactions of molecular and electrokinetic features of blended cement composed of various pozzolanas with similar chemical and physicochemical properties compared to the reference cement (PÇ 42,5 R). For this purpose, the raw materials have been applied physical, chemical, mineorologic, molecular and electrokinetic experiments. In addition, the contact angles, free surface energies, and hydration developments of pozzuolanas have been examined using verious techniques. The hydration development of the cement doughs has been determined using standard cement experiments as well as XRD and FT-IR techniques. Further, SEM and micro structures have been examined. In the studies, we have found out that the physical characteristics of pozzuolanas depend, to a great extent, on their molecular structures. The features of the molecular structures vary depending on their crystal and amorphous characteristisc as well as on their content of chemical elements. This has an effect on their electrokinetic characteristics. The reference group of cement and pozzuolanas have been given different values on account of the positive and negative atoms atom goups in their structures. Consequently, the positively charged particules have interacted with the negatively charged ones and initially have bound with weak and later strong bonds. Keywords: Pozzolana, Electrokinetic
