On the Chinese checker sphere

In Chinese Checkers game, the style of movement is from southwest to northeast, from northwest to southeast, from east to west and north to south. Krause, E. F. [4] keeping this rule in mind, asked the question of how to develop a metric which would be similar to the movements made by playing Chinese Checkers. Chen, G. [2] has introduced the metric, wheredL(X, Y) = max { ? x1-x2 ? , ? y1-y2 ? }and ds(X, Y) = min { ? x1-x2 ? , ? y1-y2 ? }for any two points X = (x1, y1) and Y = (x2,y2) in the analytical plane.By looking at the definition of Chinese Checker metric, Chinese Checker geometry has been developed since similar movements are done in order to calculate the distance between two points.With all these facts kept in mind, in this study, in the First Chapter, Chinese Checker plane, Chinese Checker distance, Chinese Checker metric and the equation of distance between a point and a line in Chinese Checker plane have been introduced and general sphere equation has been given.In the Second Chapter; Chinese Checker circle has been defined and examples are given.In the Third Chapter; Distance Formula at Chinese Checker spare has been given.In the Fourth Chapter; Chinese Checker sphere at Chinese Checker space has been introduced and general sphere equation has been formulated and examples are given.Keywords: Chinese checkers, Matric, Min., Max., Sphere.
