Among the world's most Turkic people, perhaps the least known is the Turkmen living in China, also known as the salar. Turkey has relatively little research and literature on the ethnic group of Sarah living in China. Around the 14th century, the ancestors of the salar migrated from Central Asia to China. The content of the article is based on a series of ethnic characteristics of the local Salar religion, language and daily life, to understand the cultural changes and development of the salar group living in China in today's society. The aim of this study is to investigate the ethnic identities and changes in cultural context of Salır Turks living in the autonomous district of Xunhua in Qinghai province of China.
