Özet (EN)

In this study, the usability of Lythrum salicaria L. in the phytoremediation of Zn heavy metal was investigated. According to the results, the zinc concentration (12 098,33 mg / kg) that L. salicaria seedlings accumulated the highest zinc amount was 30 mg/L and there was a statistically negative correlation between zinc increase in solutions and relative root elongation, stem elongation and fresh weight (r = -0,89; r = -0,93 ve r = -0,96, respectively). No statistically significant correlation was found between the pH increase of the solution containing 30 mg / L Zn where the plant showed the best growth and the relative root elongation, stem elongation and fresh weight of the seedlings (r = 0,32; r = 0,16 ve r = 0,21, respectively). It was found that L. salicaria seedlings accumulated the maximum zinc at pH 7 (13 893.5 mg/kg). In contrast, the best relative root elongation of the plant was found in 30 mg Zn / L at pH 6 and the best relative stem elongation and fresh weight increase was found at pH 7. While the organs where the plant accumulated the maximum zinc were root> stem> leaf, respectively, TF = 0.15 and BCF = 1.14 were calculated.
