Abstract (EN)

In this study, in order to examine the characteristics of water quality in Cip Dam Lake located in northwest of Elazığ province, water samples were taken from Cip Dam Lake in April 2017-July 2017 period. Samples taken during the research temperature, pH, nitrite, nitrate, sodium, potassium, fluorine, chlorine, sulphate, bicarbonate, electrical conductivity, oxidation reduction potential, dissolved oxygen and salinity were determined by spectrophotometric analysis in field and laboratory. Analysis results obtained "Continent In Water Resources Classes" and "TS 266" analyzed according to the criteria. In the analysis, chlorine level II. class water quality (less polluted waters), nitrite value IV. class water quality (highly contaminated waters). Nitrate value has first class water quality (high quality water) in april and may, in june and july, II. grade water (less contaminated water) quality. Conductivity value II. class water (less polluted waters) quality. In terms of other parameters, water quality has the characteristics of Class I water (high quality water) or conforms to TS266. As a result of the analysis results, it was determined that the pollution in the waters of the Cip Dam Lake was increased periodically.
