Abstract (EN)

Disputes related to international transports are linked to certain principles with different international agreements depending on the environments in which transports take place. The freight transportations carried out by road were carried out with the Convention Relative au Contrat de Transport International de Marchandises Par Route (CMR), signed on May 19, 1956, to integrate some legal rules on the subject. Republic of Turkey in terms of decades of party choice or private international law and procedure applicable law in respect for law, CMR, as of 1995, with the adoption by Turkey is implemented as domestic law. In this study, CMR is also discussed in general. According to CMR, the responsibilities of the carrier are examined, sectoral perceptions and evaluations about the problems encountered are mentioned.
