A study on Çinar and Giresun Çınar magazine

ABSTRACT Çınar and Giresun Çınar magazines are literature, art and environment magazines. Although it was published in Giresun, it had an impact on the whole country and literary circles. The first issue of Çınar magazine was September-October 1997. The last issue of Giresun Çınar published September-October 2001. The journal was published 18 issues. The journal includes the literary activities in Giresun, poems, stories, essays, memories, Giresun's history, culture, traditional dance writings, environmental writings and translations. In this study, it was informed about Çınar and Giresun Çınar magazines' publishing process, figure features, identity information, publishing policy, writer cadre and literary activities. All the writings in the magazine have been made in the descriptive index. These writings are separated by numbers, by author name, by genre, and by subject.
