Transfer the new alphabet and evaluation of kids magazine written in old italics which is called Çocuk Dostu

Literature is a branch of art in which feelings and thoughts are expressed in oral or written ways. Beside this generic definition literature sheds light on lives as well; therefore, ?Children?s Literature? is revealed that consists of literal works. Periodical publishes have a significant place inside children literature world. Tanzimat reform era has started great developments in both children literature and periodical publishes for children. Çocuk Dostu journal, which was first published in 1914, focused on especially preschool children. Apart from other children?s journals, stories, font sizes, pictures appeal to preschool children. Even though the journal has 13 issues, only 11 of them can be reachable in libraries. In this study, Çocuk Dostu evaluated in Latin alphabet. Furthermore, some inspections were done on the journal. The opportunity for comparison of the journal publishing methods between a century before and nowadays is provided. The aim of this study is also leading up upcoming studies in the same subject area.
