The place and educational values of Feridun Oral in our children's literature as a writing and drawing for children's literature

Study; Children's books, written by Feridun Oral, are examined in terms of basic principles of children's literature. The study was conducted using a document analysis method, one of the qualitative research methods. In this context, fifteen children's books in the sample were analyzed by document analysis. This analysis has been performed under the main headings of design features and content properties. Design features under the title page, point, size, cover - skin, picture; under the heading of content, under the headings of subject - fiction, track - theme, environment, message, character, language and narrative, literary and educational principles. With in the framework of the analysis, Feridun Oral's place in our children's literature and the educational values in his books are revealed.
