Abstract (EN)

One of the important factors motivating individuals to visit a touristic region is attractive elements of this touristic region, and one of these elements is geographical marked products. Hence, these products are valuable assets of the touristic region providing the region differentiate from other touristic destinations and its own destination brand might emerge. Within the scope of this study, it is aimed to investigate the effect of geographical marked product experiences of domestic tourists visiting Siirt for touristic purpose on their visitor satisfactions and behavioural intentions. In the study, quantitative research method was benefited, and survey technique was used. In this regard, a survey was conducted on 353 domestic tourists who visited Siirt city between 10th February 2022 and 10th May 2022 for touristic purposes, had geographical marked product experience in Siirt city, are literate, are competent in expressing own opinions, and are in the age more than 18. As the result of the research, it is found that domestic tourists' experiences towards Siirt's geographical marked products have significant, middle and low-level, positive and partial effect on visitor satisfaction and behavioural intention. Furthermore, the finding that responses of participants for variables used in the research are significantly different according to various demographical features, was reached.
