Abstract (EN)

Mobile traffic network has been growing rapidly in recent years, and there is a demand for more capacity in network. Fifth generation (5G) mobile communication technology supports users' high-speed and low-latency data usage. As power reduction is an important factor for 5G technology, it improves the power performance of millimeter wave large scale antenna systems with minimal loss of spectral efficiency compared to full digital baseband pre-encoders. For this purpose, hybrid precoding is applied. Alternative minimization algorithms have been developed to calculate hybrid pre encoders. Millimeter wave communicaitin in the 60 GHz band requires large antenna arrays at both the transmit and receive terminals to achieve beamforming gains to counter the high path loss. All-digital techniques are not possible with large antenna arrays due to hardware limitations suchf frequencies, but purely analog solutions suffer severe performance limitations. Hybrid analog/digital beamforming is a promising solution, especially when there is an extended multi-user communication system. In this thesis, the simulation results performed in terms of ergodic spectral efficiency for different scenarios are shown to compare the proposed system under hybrid precoding, beamforming techniques in multi-user millimeter wave MIMO systems with alternative methods. In this thesis study, in which the data rate increase is examined by spectral efficiency analysis, for the single-branch channel and 5-branch multipath channel scenario for 16x4 mm-wave MIMO systems, ergodic capacitance change versus SNR change is used using beamforming, interference-free transmission and zero-forced detector. Analyzed, and the results were compared.
