Abstract (EN)

In this study, multi manned assembly line balancing problem is presented by considering different situations and purposes. Firstly, a mathematical model, which minimize worker number as the primary objective, line length as the secondary and then workload differences between workers as the tertiary objective, is proposed for efficiency of line. Secondly, multi manned assembly line problems are tackle in terms of qualified workers and a mixed integer mathematical model is proposed and a heuristic algorithm is developed for the problem. Thirdly, multi-manned assembly line balancing problems are examined under various assignment constraints, a mixed integer mathematical model is presented and a heuristic method is proposed. The effectiveness of proposed mathematical models and heuristic algorithms are shown on test problems. In this study, mathematical models are solved via GUROBI 6.0, heuristic algorithms are coded in C# programming language and results are reported.
