Abstract (EN)
Political parties are unions which consist of people who have same ideas and benefit from coming to power or to have a voice in the government at least. In democratic society, one of the main instruments for participating in political process are political parties.Political parties need money in order to survive, compete, perform their democratic functions and assume their responsibilities, both during and between election campaigns. The main traditional source of the political party financing is membership fees. Membership fees are not enough to fund political parties especially, small ones. So donations become an other essential source option for political parties. But, there is wide public perception that donors expect illegitimate government favors in return. Many Democratic States accepted the idea of giving public funding to political parties to avoid interfering unnecessarily with the independence of political parties. Many democratic societies have taken substantial legislative actions in recent years in order to maintain and increase the confidence of the citizens in their political systems.Key words: The Multi Party Democracy, Political Parties Financing, Political Parties.
