Abstract (EN)

In this study, diversity of naturally spreading Poaceae (Gramineae) under the influence of desertification in Eregli (Konya) and its environment determinated. Moreover, soil samples which are collected in this region were analyzed. As a result of study performed, 81 taxa belonging to 37 genera were identified. We found that one taxon was endemic. According to risk category is one plant taxon was identified in the category of VU. Phytogeographical regions of the plants determined in the research area are 18,5 % Euro-Siberian, 13,5 % Irano-Turanian and 2,4 % Meditterranean elements. According to soil analysis, the highest value of conductivity and salt % was found 40,48 dS/m and 1,54 %, respectively. Dominant 5 taxa in the region were also studied in terms of germination characteristics in different salt levels. The result of the present study could serve as a useful tool; breeding of plants in natural distribution under exposed to salt stress or desertification.
