Abstract (EN)
In this study, the relationship between the spirituality and psychological resilience levels of high school students during the Covid-19 epidemic was examined. In the study; variables such as school type, age, number of siblings, parental status, individuals living outside the family at home, family income, and having Covid-19 disease were taken into account. In this study, general survey and relational survey models were used. The "Short Psychological Resilience Scale" developed by Doğan (2015) and the "Spirituality Scale" developed by Şirin (2018) were used as data collection tools. The research was carried out with the participation of 512 students studying in Kütahya in the 2021-2022 academic year. The data obtained in the study were analyzed using computer package programs. Data were analyzed using descriptive analyzes (percentage, frequency), difference analyzes (t-test, ANOVA) and correlation. According to the results of the research, it was determined that the students' perception of spirituality was at a high level. There was a difference in favor of the girls according to the gender of the students. In addition, it was determined that the family unity of the participants increased their perception of spirituality. It was determined that the students' psychological resilience was at a moderate level. According to the variables examined in the study -except for gender- there was no significant difference between the psychological resilience levels of the students. In addition, a positive relationship was determined between the spirituality and psychological resilience levels of the participants. Considering the results of the research, it is recommended to carry out activities to increase the level of spirituality in order to increase the psychological resilience of high school students.
