Özet (EN)
Individualized, human-oriented and holistic nursing care should be given to each individual because the COVID-19 disease progresses differently in each individual, and the care needs and response to care are different. This study was conducted to evaluate the care-oriented nurse-patient interaction of hospitalized patients with the diagnosis of COVID-19. The research was carried out in Kahramanmaraş Necip Fazıl City Hospital. 370 COVID-19 patients were included in the study. The data of the study collected with the Data Collection Form and the Care Oriented Nurse Patient Interaction Scale Short Form. Evaluation of the data was done in SPSS 22.0 statistical package program for Windows. The mean scores of the patients from the Care-Oriented Nurse-Patient Interaction Scale were points in the dimensions of importance, frequency and satisfaction respectively; 95.3±4.4, 81.0±9.4, 95.1±8.0. According to the scores of the subscales: Clinical Care importance, frequency and satisfaction subscale scores were respectively: 39.4±4, 4.35.3±5.1, 38.5±4.0 point. Relational Care importance, frequency, and satisfaction mean scores were respectively 24.6±7, 7.15±4.2, 25.7±3.1 points. The mean scores of importance, frequency and satisfaction of Humanistic Care were respectively 17.6±1.8, 17.8±2.4, 18.0±1.8 points. Comforting Care, importance, frequency and satisfaction mean scores were respectively 13.7±1.7, 13.3±2.0, 12.9±1.9 points. Statistically significant differences were found according to gender, unit of treatment, working status, place of residence, and companion status. As a result; Considering the high scores of patients with a diagnosis of COVID-19, it was found that the level of care-oriented nurse patient interaction of the patients was at a positive level. According to the subscale scores, it was found that the patients found Clinical Care important, they received it frequently, and they were highly satisfied. It was determined that although they found Relational Care important, they did not receive relational care very often, but they were satisfied with the care. It was determined that they found humanistic care important, they received humanistic care very often, and they were quite satisfied with humanistic care. It was determined that they found comforting care important, took it very often and were satisfied with the care practices. It was determined that nurse patient interaction was more important than intensive care patients. The frequency of nurse-patient interaction is higher in ward patients. It was determined that intensive care patients were more satisfied with the nurse patient interaction.
