Abstract (EN)
The subject and aim of this paper are to reveal the two significant moral sentiments developed in the Republican period within the history of Turkish thought; the Morality of Love, and the Morality of Revolt. In order to ensure the integrity of the subject, first of all, various moral views that are prominent in the history of philosophy, and then, the Morality of Love, and the Morality of Revolt, which constitute the main subject of the paper, are mentioned. In this paper, the obligation of morality and the sources of these two moral sentiments, their relations with other disciplines and their aims were determined. These moral sentiments, which are rooted in the tradition of Turkish-Islamic thought, are discussed in a philosophical and scientific context and it is revealed that there is not much difference between them due to the basis on which they are based. In particular, the notions of "love" and 'revolt' are stated and it is emphasized that they are both moral notions.
