The reasons of these are both the wars and the geographical specifications of the City, the material which is used to building home and insufficiant fire fighting. Although City was able to wrapping his wounds; it was unsuccessful to take lessons from it. The evidence of our thoughts is even thought it didn't pass a long time after the fires of 1935, 1946, 1956, which are the subject of our research, occurring the same disaster again. The number of sources is restricted because the subject of research is fire. Because the fire took away not only the life's, buildings but also the sources that could guide the resource. The most usefull sources are the publishing terms in this resource. In spite the fires had been lived in a lot of places of the country in that period, these three big fires were taken place of many newspapers. Due to the fact that destruction of fires was big and the interest of politician increased the attention of media. For example, the biggest advantege of that environment Minister Cevdet Kerim İncedayı, who was from Sinop, was the minister of public in the face of this painful event in 1946. With the interest of minister, the recovery of the city was faster and better. Due to the interesting of minister against on event, media was sensitive the event and focused it in a long time. In the fire of 1956, president Celal BAYAR and Prime Minister Adnan MENDERES had much interest and relevance on it and the interest of press was attracted of Sinop and it stayed on newspapers in a long time.
