The general assemblies are the institutions where important decisions are made which serve to restruct political parties. By means of decisions taken in congresses , the route of parties they will fallow during their political exsistance, is defined.What sort of role they have on political parties and The events that effect congresses and Congresses that effect events constitute the theme of research.Defeat in elections,differences in opinions ,individual politic profits. Inner party arguments ,abolish of instituon inside the party and establish new ones in place of them,discussions on principles and programme,what kind of effect is created on the respect of directing a party?s political existance are the main researched componenets.The aim of this research;The news took part in seventh, eighth and ninth General Congress of Cumhuriyet Halk Partisi(Republic Nation Party) and being able to drawTurkey?s political portrait ,relevant to that period, with the guidance of the effects created by the subjects mentioned above and being able to reflect this portrait neutrally and accurately.In order to achieve that aim, national newspapers have been researched in an objective manner.Keywords: Republic Nation Party, General Assembly, Programme, Regulations
