The role of the public prosecutor in civil lawsuits

Abstract (EN)

In this study, essentially civil lawsuits in which public prosecutors take in charge and their roles in this civil lawsuits have been investigated. In this study also, "appearance of establishment of prosecution office and it's development so far with it's examples, for comparison prosecution offices in different coutries, apperance of establishment of prosecution office and in cosequence of different statues it's historical process in Turkish Legal Culture, it's convertion to Office of The Chief Public Prosecutor, establisment of Office of The Chief Public Prosecutor, it's organizational structure, generally it's duties and powers, common features of civil lawsuits in which a Public Prosecutor takes in charge and examination of general principles of this lawsuits, examination of a Public Prosecutor's powers in this lawsuits in accordance with Code of Civil Procedure's 70 article, powers of a Public Prosecutor on ligitation, participating in a lawsuit and applying to legal remedies; establishment of appeal in favor of law which is an exceptional power of Supreme Court of Appeals (Court of Cassation) Prosecutor's Office" have been handled/searched.
