Examining landscape paintings seen on Turkish painting art after republic according to design principles

Recently, in the most of research done in art field, importance of art design principles is increased. Nowadays many academicians make research in which level of the use of the art design principles in art. On the other hand, it has not found such a research on nature paintings.Principles of designing include naming of patterns which are in the whole of the nature. Thus, it is important to define using level of principles of designing in nature paintings. For this reason, occurring of principles of designing in the nature paintings is evaluated in the research.In the research, two topics were noticed during the giving of occurring of principles of design in nature paintings. First of them is comparing nature paintings in classic and modern category. In this frame, four classical style artists and two modern style artists and their artworks were evaluated according to principles of designing. For the second, using levels, degree and direction of principles of design were evaluated.According to analysis of artworks, it is found that in the classical style nature paintings, principles of design were as same as in nature. On the other hand, in the modern type artworks, although there is differentiation principle which is used to difference from classical style, these artworks also have wholeness in their own art direction. The most used principle in modern style is differentiation.
