Agricultural supports applied from the republic to the present and comparison with OECD countries

These uses are used to benefit from growing food. This is taken from the OECD, which has been studied and compared for more accurate assessment with those from the Republic. On the other hand, agricultural date were obtained from official institutions such as TUİK, WORD BANK, DPT, OECD. Agricultural supports in our country have continued since the establishment of the Republic. However, after 1980, agricultural supports were reduced. While the effect of this on production increased the disintegration in the sector, it decreased the growth rate. While the level of self-sufficiency in the production of many agricultural products has decreased, imports have started in the consumption of food products. Today, especially OECD countries have an important position in the production and trade of agricultural products. The share of agriculture in the economies of these countries is low, but many agricultural products are produced above the level of competence. These countries are also in the first place in the total export of agricultural products. The most important reason fort this is the needs-oriented and stable support of the agricultural sectors of these countries in the previous years.
