Abstract (EN)
Two hundred years have passed since Immanuel Kant's adoption of the Eternal Peace design. In this process, the world has tried to cope with many political crises and often create new crises. With the design of eternal peace, Kant brought the modern seeds of cosmopolitanism to mind by introducing the idea of a legitimate state confederation based on reason. He argued that states should be connected with international law that related to each other and become legal subjects with mutual rights and responsibilities. By the way, the ideas of Alexander Wendt, one of the most important representatives of social constructionism in the 1990s, argued that states are in a consept in which the anarchic state in the international system is shaped by the states themselves. In this work, we question the possibility of Immanuel Kant's Eternal Peace design from Alexander Wendt's view of social constructionism. In this regard, we are theoretically discussing whether the international system has the identities, norms, institutions and institutions that can provide peace today.
