Abstract (EN)

Cyprinus carpio (common carp) is a globally widespread fish species that is highly valued for its nutritional benefits and is cultivated both naturally and in aquaculture. Due to these well-known characteristics, enhancing the growth condition and fortifying the immune systems of common carp is crucial. Probiotics are live microorganisms that, when administered in adequate amounts, support the digestive and immune systems of the host, thereby contributing positively to overall health. This thesis will focus on the isolation of certain probiotic bacteria from the digestive tract of C. carpio (common carp). Some bacterial species present in the digestive systems of animals play significant roles in feed utilization, fish health, environmental quality improvement, and enhancement of microorganisms. Additionally, some bacteria in the gastrointestinal tract play important roles and contribute to the host's metabolism by producing several different enzymes in the digestive system. The aim of this thesis is to determine the probiotic characteristics of bacteria isolated from the intestines of common carp (C. carpio).
