Abstract (EN)

In this study, the design and implementation of DC-2 GHz distributed amplifier arepresented. In order to optimize the gain, noise and return losses of DA, Microwave Office 2004programme is used. Then, optimized circuit is realized. For the characterization of amplifier, S-parameters of transistor, which is active device of circuits are utilized. For DA analysed throughsimulations with DC-2 GHz bandwidth, input and output return losses (S11 and S22 respectively)are tuned to <-10 dB while forward gain parameter (S21) is tuned to >12 dB. Furthermore, thestability factor (K) and noise figure (NF) are also tuned to >1 and <2 dB, respectively. Finally, results from measurement are compared with that of simulation. It is observed that the resultsare relatively matched with some differences.
