The written work Nevhatü'l-Uşşâk named of Dai̇ Mehmet : Transcription-analysis

Works of mesnevi are the one of the most important sources in divan literature. It ıs too important in terms of divan literature and giving information about the term and providing culturel transformation. Not having couplet limitation and the being used of short patterns of aruz has increased the attention to this nazım shape. 06 Mil Yz A 6523/1 numbered "Nevhatü'l-Uşşâk" on which we anaylise has been written by Dai Mehmet on the seventeeth century. The mesnevi which consists of 2126 couplets have five verces gazel, sixteen verces kaside, seven verses mütekerrir müsemmen, five verces and two mütekerrir murabba, three sections, one persian couplet and in final part twenty four couplet kıt'a-i kebîre. And the work has nesir parts having three sections in the final part of it. While we were doing our work, firstly we told the functions of the term, life of the poet, literary personality and his works. After that, we gave information about outer quality of the work. We analysed the work in terms of shape, content, language, explanation by thinking other works of mesnevi. We prepared the transcriptional text of work and we found the measure by translating to current Turkish. We determined different nazım shapes in it and we categorized.
